November is the time of final harvests and copious feasting, and what better to do either than with a generous basket? Carry it underarm through the garden for those last delicatas. Fill it with bread and center it on your Thanksgiving table. In this beginner-friendly class, we will learn the ins-and-outs of frame style basketry in the Appalachian tradition, while utilizing the ever forgiving basketry reed to weave our basket. No previous basketry experience is required, however some hand strength and stamina are necessary to complete this basket within the workshop time frame. Please be advised that cancellations made by email, within 48 hours after signing up for the class will be eligible for a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. To avoid a processing fee, credits can instead be applied toward a future class.

 

Cancellations made after the 48 hour time limit are non refundable, but credits can be applied toward a future class.

 If, for any reason, I must cancel a class, I will try my best to reschedule the class on a later date. However, if you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you may choose to 1.) apply the credits to a future class, or 2.) will be eligible for a full refund. You must confirm via email which option you would like to choose within 7 days of the cancelled class. After 7 days, you will not be eligible for a refund, but can still apply your credits toward a future class. Any refunded amounts will be processed within 3 days of written confirmation of a requested refund.
